About The Role
As part of the Bolt Tax team, the Senior Equity and Mobility Tax Associate will be responsible for overseeing the tax aspects of employee equity compensation and global mobility. In this role, you will assist with the tax compliance, reporting, and strategic tax planning for equity programs such as stock options and RSUs, while also optimizing the tax implications of employee mobility across multiple jurisdictions. It demands strong tax technical skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to collaborate effectively with HR, Legal, Finance, and external advisors.

About The Role

In this role, you will assist with the tax compliance, reporting, and strategic tax planning for equity programs such as stock options and RSUs, while also optimizing the tax implications of employee mobility across multiple jurisdictions. It demands strong tax technical skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to collaborate effectively with HR, Legal, Finance, and external advisors.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Oversee Global Equity Compensation Tax Compliance and Reporting.
- Optimise and Manage Tax Compliance for Global Mobility Programs.
- Provide Strategic Tax Guidance for Mobility and Equity Programs.
- Build and Maintain Strong Internal and External Relationships.
- Monitor Tax Regulatory Changes and Provide Expertise.
- Advice on Tax Risk Management and Audits.
- You have 4+ years of relevant experience in global mobility tax, equity compensation tax management, gained at a consultancy firm or in-house.
- You are self-driven, proactive team player with a hands-on mentality, excellent communication skills, and strong attention to detail.
- You have a deep knowledge of international tax laws affecting employee mobility, corporate taxation, withholding, and social security agreements. Understanding of the tax issues likely to be raised in due diligence of share plans.
- You have excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- You are intellectually curious, with a desire to continuously learn, adapt, and grow within the role. Ability to take a creative approach to problem solving, taking into account the company’s priorities
- You have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relations with internal stakeholders and teams in a multicultural global entrepreneurial environment.
