We are looking for a highly analytical and solutions-driven Operations Specialist to join our ride-hailing operations team in Malta. You will work closely with the Operations Managers, where your contributions will directly impact business growth by achieving supply milestones and key metrics.

About The Role

As an Operations Specialist, you will be involved in managing day-to-day business operations and various projects, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. You will have full ownership of your work, analyzing quantitative and qualitative data from various sources to provide business insights, spot potential for development and make data-driven decisions

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Hands-on supply management - working autonomously and taking initiatives through the stages of driver acquisition, conversion, activation and retention, ensuring driver availability meets customer demand.
• Develop and execute initiatives to enhance the value proposition for drivers, increase supply, and improve driver retention.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, customer support, product, and HQ operations) to align on business goals and to execute initiatives, projects, and strategies that drive growth and improve marketplace health, all while ensuring operational success.
• Design, implement and improve local processes to drive operational efficiency, address marketplace imbalances, regulatory requirements, and business growth opportunities.
• Track and analyze performance data to identify trends, solve problems, and improve key metrics such as supply availability, retention, and driver satisfaction.
• Build dashboards to monitor and analyze performance.
  
  
  

About you:

• You have 2+ years of experience in analytical, operations, or project management positions.
• You are a strong collaborator with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in English & Maltese (Would be a plus).
• You are highly analytical and have a data-driven mindset with excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills, yet are not afraid to get your hands dirty if needed.
• You have a strong sense of ownership with a hands-on approach.
• You are comfortable with developing analytical and decision frameworks to support your strategies and decisions.
• You can manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, staying well-organized and meeting deadlines.
