We are looking to hire a Data Protection Officer who acts as a privacy advisory and monitoring function for Bolt, who is responsible for carrying out regular security audits and serves as the main point of contact between Bolt and data protection authorities.

Please note that this is a full-time permanent employment opportunity. The gross salary for this role is 5082GEL + Bi-Annual bonuses

About The Role

As a key player in our Privacy team, you'd identify and monitor developments in privacy laws, regulatory guidance and best practices and proactively identify gaps for remediation, and so much more!

Main tasks & responsibilities:

  • To identify and monitor developments in privacy laws, regulatory guidance and best practices on the markets and proactively identify gaps for remediation
  • Provide day-to-day support on monitoring Bolt’s compliance with privacy laws and regulations
  • To assist in all other necessary tasks that are typically associated with a Data Protection.For example: providing advice/opinions on features/projects involving personal data to the Legal Team; completing Data Protection Impact Assessments; handling data subject rights requests
  • To provide expert advice and educate employees on important data compliance requirements
  • To draft new and amend existing internal data protection policies, guidelines, and procedures, in consultation with key stakeholders
  • To serve as point of contact for data protection authorities


About you:

  • You have a minimum of 3 years’ experience specialising in privacy providing support in a law firm, regulator and/or international company.
  • You hold data protection certifications and/or formal certifications, experience of engaging with data protection regulators.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in Georgian and English
  • You have a solution-oriented mindset and have strong analytical skills.
  • You are independent, proactive, collaborative, creative, business-minded and enjoy working with multiple stakeholders across varied jurisdictions.
  • You work independently with global and local stakeholders
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment
