Bolt is looking for a Central Operations Inventory Manager for our Rentals vertical.

About The Role

As the Central Operations Inventory Manager, you will ensure that all Rentals warehouses are fully stocked with the parts required to repair Bolt scooters and e-bikes. You will be responsible for demand planning by monitoring inventory usage and forecasting the needs to the procurement team. You will work closely with local operations teams and the Central Warehouse to maintain inventory buffer levels so that no vehicles will be waiting for parts.

Your daily adventures will include:

  • Ability to handle complex inventory operations for 300+ cities and 1,200+ unique spare parts
  • Manage Inventory availability across all countries in Rentals vertical including the Central Warehouse
  • Monitor spare parts budget across the vehicle lifetime
  • Drive inventory-focused mindset in the local operations.
  • Supporting development teams to create/improve processes and implements these changes across the network
  • Basic Leadership skills required to lead Specialist level roles
  • Provide training to local ops teams on inventory procedures and best practices
  • Keep the Standard Operating Procedure repository up to date with Inventory processes
  • Leads high impact Inventory Management projects


About you:

  • High school diploma required, University degree preferred
  • Demonstrates proficiency in the use of MS Excel / Google Sheets
  • Possesses potential to develop specific knowledge of Bolt’s range of products and services
  • Exhibits ability to interpret data and relate it with real world operations
  • Displays very high attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Exhibits ability to think creatively in order to devise optimal inventory strategies
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Previous work experience with Inventory Management or Supply Chain is a must
