We are looking for a Category Manager to join our Central Operations team to drive growth and success of the premium categories on our platform.

About The Role

As a Category Manager, you will be implementing strategic initiatives, improving operational metrics, and collaborating cross-functionally to create a high class ride experience in our premium categories.

Main tasks & responsibilities:

  • Strategic initiative leadership: Drive the strategic initiatives that aim to optimise both rider and driver success in premium categories.
  • Service level establishment: Establish the sustainable service level for premium categories in our markets through comprehensive performance analysis, continuous enhancement of operational metrics and creation of playbooks for category management in different regions.
  • Cross-functional relationship management: Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure seamless and effective delivery of strategic initiatives prioritising the overarching goal of augmenting the overall rider experience.
  • Growth analysis: Systematically understand and refine the key factors for the growth.
  • Market expansion and launch strategy: Find new markets and opportunities for premium expansion and establish launch strategies for the categories.
  • Pricing optimisation: Identify opportunities for pricing optimization.


About you:

  • You have 5+ years previous experience working in Operations, Category or Program Management.
  • You feel comfortable with Lean/Six Sigma tools and other problem solving methodologies to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of current operations and drive continuous improvement.
  • You eliminate ambiguities fast to get to the root cause of a problem.
  • You are highly analytical and have a data-driven mindset with great Excel skills.
  • You are a strong collaborator with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in English.
  • You are a self-starter with a can-do attitude, ability to take initiative, learn quickly, and think independently.
