We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, self starter to identify, lead and implement change in accounting principles, specialising in managing cost centres, vacation accrual and general ledger accounting.

About The Role

You will be supporting continuous improvement and will ensure payroll accounting health is in compliance with internal and external control framework. Ensuring all work from end to end process and to act as a key driver and first point of contact on queries with internal and external staff. The position's main focus will be payroll and related activities but will cross train and provide support for payroll, accounting, audit preparation & participate in end of month closing.

Your daily adventures will include:

  • Manage the full end to end delivery of payroll accounting in area of responsibility such as reconciliations, month end close, vacation accruals, report generation all in a timely manner.
  • Review final payroll results and payments made to employees, statutory payments & 3rd party.
  • Audit accuracy of payroll taxes deducted, pay amounts, rates, allocation changes, garnishments, vacations.
  • Provide country specific expertise and legislation knowledge and monitor the correct implementation of it: tax, social security, etc.
  • Facilitate, review and verify timely monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll including gross-to-net calculation, regional and local pay practices, in addition to pre/post tax benefit deductions, fringe benefits, equity, gross-ups, and their impact to net pay.


About you:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.
  • 2+ years of experience managing payroll related accounting entries in a fast paced tech company.
  • Ability to organize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously with close attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll and accounting systems (Workday is an advantage).
