We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to join Bolt Food’s HQ Commercial team. The team's mission is to develop, improve and maintain the commercial strategy and functions for the global food business.

About The Role

As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will be part of the Commercial Sales Enablement team within the Bolt Delivery HQ team. In this role, you will build, develop, implement and maintain the lead generation systems for the sales function.

The qualities we are looking for in a candidate are that they are a strong independent contributor, able to proactively deliver on requirements, embrace ambiguity at a global scale and approach business challenges in a data-driven and structured manner. With technical and operational experience in developing and implementing data extraction and lead generation systems at other startup sales organizations.

Your daily adventures will include:

• Develop, implement, and maintain data extraction systems using languages such as Selenium, Python or Java.
• Extract web data from various sources and databases to expand our sales operations.
• Deduplicate and wash extracted data with our existing data set to develop a clean and comprehensive view of sales leads in the markets we operate in.
• Set up a robust infrastructure for regular lead generation to aid our sales team.
• Monitor the efficiency of our data extraction system, identifying areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand their needs and tailor your solutions to meet these requirements.
• Adhere to all data privacy regulations and ensure the ethical sourcing of data.
• Project Management. You will work closely with other global teams in order to resolve the most challenging issues in our commercial operations.
• Automation. You will automate workflows and find ways to use code/algorithms to make the operation of local teams more efficient and data-driven.
  
  
  

About you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a role where you have developed lead generation systems through web data extraction.
• Strong Individual Contributor, we are looking for a candidate who thrives with autonomy and can build tools from scratch.
• Advanced Python skills.
• SQL and Excel skills.
• Excellent communication & written skills in English.
• Ready to relocate to Tallinn, Estonia, where our HQ is located.
• Experience with Selenium, Java, JavaScript, Katalon is a plus.
• Experience with some BI tools and data visualization like Tableau, Power BI or Looker is a plus.
