We are looking for a hands-on and highly motivated Senior IT Internal Auditor to join our growing Internal Audit function. In this role, you will be part of Bolt’s Internal Audit team and work closely with the Internal Audit Managers.

The Internal Audit team provides assurance and consulting services related to Bolt's governance, risk management, and internal control processes. Within the team, there is a dedicated function focused on IT Internal Controls, which ensures the proper management of our systems' reliability and access controls.

About the role

As a Senior IT Internal Auditor, you will be involved in the planning, execution and reporting of IT audits, while collaborating on other operational or financial audits. This includes performing your audit tasks with minimal guidance. You will provide management with valuable insights into managing our risks better. Also, you will directly contribute to assessing and strengthening the internal control of our business processes by offering pragmatic and cost-conscious solutions. You will cooperate with all internal teams within Bolt, including, Finance, Legal, Commerce, HR, IT, and our operational teams.

Your daily adventures will include:

  • Contribute to the successful execution of IT engagements, by conducting audit procedures within the set timeframes and by following the work programs, departmental methodology, policies and standards.
  • Obtain an understanding of business processes.
  • Contribute to the execution of engagement planning activities to identify risks and develop appropriate risk-based audit procedures
  • Deliver high-quality working papers to support audit results
  • Assist the engagement lead with the preparation and presentation of audit reports to auditees and key stakeholders
  • Participate in other internal projects and initiatives with limited supervision.
  • Occasionally, lead Internal Audit engagements and assist and provide coaching to other team members as appropriate on the engagement level.


About you:

  • 3-5 years experience in IT audit, IT security, information risk management, IT governance and other IT compliance-related work, either public accounting, internal audit or industry. Big 4 experience is a merit.
  • Prior responsibilities should include: assessing process risks, evaluating business processes, including identifying and evaluating the design of controls, executing and documenting audit tests.
  • Wide understanding of IT & Information Security Management Frameworks and relevant regulations and industry standards (e.g., COSO, COBIT, ITIL, NIST).
  • Experience in successfully designing and performing IT audits in global organisations, leading the execution of ITGC and automated controls testing, including its design and operating effectiveness. Experience in determining control deficiencies resulting from ITGC testing.
  • University degree with a major in IT, information security or a related field. CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CGEIT, CSX-P, CISM or similar certification is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relations with internal stakeholders, executives and teams in a multicultural global entrepreneurial environment.
  • Believe in open, honest and direct communication with colleagues and working together to come up with the best solutions.
  • Not afraid to challenge and question colleagues (regardless of level) in a constructive manner always with the best solution for Bolt at heart.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel internationally is required.
