Staff Project Manager

We're looking for a self-motivated, driven and detail-oriented Staff Project Manager to join our team and help shape the future of space data innovation.
In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding a team dedicated to directly supporting our space customers. You'll ensure that users of our technology receive exceptional service and leverage their feedback to drive continuous improvement. By managing project timelines, financials, tracking critical metrics, and delivering high-quality results, you'll consistently exceed customer expectations. Key Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency in operations, exploiting those opportunities to create key process improvements.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in Space Operations.
- Translating customer needs into actionable steps, coordinating across varying stakeholders and departments to drive a solution.
- Track project budgets and communicate funding requirements across space ops customer base.
- Track milestones to measure and communicate project progress and success.
- Estimate timelines and resource needs to keep projects running efficiently.
- Deliver clear, consistent project updates to ensure transparency and trust.
- Foster collaboration across a diverse set of teams to ensure proper execution of project initiatives.
Basic Qualifications and Skills
- Experience using project management tools like Jira, Confluence, Unanet.
- Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
- Strong leadership and communication skills for managing cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, capable of balancing multiple projects.
- Analytical problem-solver with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Proven budget management experience, including cost tracking and resource planning.
- Ability to build collaboration and alignment among stakeholders.
Required Education: 4+ years in Project Management with a Bachelor of Science degree OR associate degree with 2 additional years beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree OR a High School Diploma with 4 additional years of Project Management experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
Clearance Requirement: This position may require the ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance. To be eligible for a security clearance, US Citizenship is required, and an employee must agree to participate in a background screen and credit check. Eligibility for a TS/SCI Clearance will be assessed as part of the onboarding process or based on programmatic needs.

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
