As a Program Control Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in supporting multiple programs, offering guidance and oversight to financial operations. You’ll work directly with program managers, project leads, and other stakeholders to ensure project success from a financial standpoint, contributing to the overall mission of AV.

Essential Functions:

  • Contract Review & Compliance: Analyze and understand the terms and conditions of multiple contract types (T&M, FFP, FFP LOE, CPFF, CPIF), ensuring compliance with financial clauses and deliverable deadlines.
  • Project Set-up & Maintenance: Work alongside Contracts and Revenue Accounting to setup and maintain of billable projects in the Unanet ERP system.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and communicate contractual clauses such as Limitation of Funds (LOF) notifications and Monthly Status Reports (MSRs).
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Create and maintain accurate budgets, including spend plans, forecast models, and estimates at complete (EACs) in alignment with project and AOP requirements.
  • Revenue Recognition & Variance Analysis: Understand and implement proper revenue recognition methodologies for each contract type and provide monthly detailed variance analysis, in a primarily product driven division.
  • Cost Tracking: Review and approve direct cost purchase requisitions and track multiple cost elements, such as direct material, subcontractor, or other direct costs (ODCs) for accurate project reporting and stakeholder deliverables.
  • Risk & Opportunity Management: Identify, track, and communicate with program teams to help mitigate program risks and leverage opportunities.
  • Billing Support: Collaborate with Accounts Receivables to ensure accurate and timely billing, aging, and unbilled tracking.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Partner with program managers and operations on financial reviews and provide guidance on financial impacts of program decisions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with 2+ years of directly related experience, or Master’s degree and 2+ years of related experience
  • Strong working knowledge of federal contracting, accounting practices, and financial reporting: emphasis on product sales, Understanding EAC’s
  • Familiarity with federal contracting concepts, practices, and procedures related to Accounting and Finance.
  • Intermediate Excel skills required (Index & Match, Pivot tables, V-Lookups, Sumifs, etc.) and familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications
  • Clearance: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Desired Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of direct project control experience.
  • Familiarity with Unanet, SalesForce, or OneStream
  • Familiarity with Product Sales complexities including Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and WIP (Work in Progress) Capitalization.
  • Experience with indirect rates and proper application
  • Experience in developing database queries and performing cost/price, schedule, and resource analysis.
