As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of professionals, you join a team of Production Control Specialists responsible for coordinating and controlling manufacturing activities for rocket engine production. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of production planning and control. We will establish, maintain and coordinate production schedules with manufacturing and assembly areas. We put a strong emphasis on teamwork, as our Specialist are directly involved with projects and problem-solving, and succeed through active engagement with the team.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, maintain, communicate and drive the schedule to ensure on time delivery for service centers and integrated areas.
- Schedule management throughout the day in order to maintain a dynamic accurate schedule. Clearly communicate the status of each job.
- Coordinate the schedule, plan, and initial staging of material/kits to all vital areas of production and test.
- Communicate and coordinate upcoming work center load (capacity planning) to provide transparency to area leads.
- Identify and communicate constraints in the production flow and work with area leads to discuss possible solutions.
- Interface and connect with internal customers for potential impact or delays in the schedule.
- Management of WO Instance from creation to completion.
- Coordinate all part handling that could involve having crates built, packing material for out-plant processes, etc.
- Updating estimated on-dock dates in scheduling system, ex: assemblies in inventory ready for vehicle install.
Qualifications:
- Passion for our mission: Millions of people living and working in space!
- 3 years schedule management experience
- Ability to thrive in a high energy, high growth multifaceted environment.
- Experience using and managing ERP/MRP systems
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Desired:
- Bachelors degree in operations management or supply chain management
- Familiarity with MS Office software including MS Project
- Experience in a both development and production environments
- Aerospace or automotive experience is a plus
