As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team, you will bring a software development perspective to aerospace manufacturing systems. As a Technical Product Manager, you are responsible for the vision, strategy, roadmap, and delivery of systems that plan complex product manufacturing, test, and operational procedures. You will also help shape the future of our growing Product organization at Blue.

We’re looking for an experienced leader with a deep understanding of warehouse automation technology to lead transformational warehouse automation and logistics programs. You'll work with developers to drive projects to completion, serve as a liaison between business units, oversee multiple projects, and build and maintain client relations. Your role will help define client outcomes at strategic and executional levels and implement technology-enabled, disruptive strategies and solutions to drive growth for customers. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Assist in creating, measuring, and optimizing the warehouse automation and logistics technology roadmap, including building a partnership with warehouse robotics leadership to define total technology roadmap to meet end state need

  • Partner with software operations program leaders to create and own strategy, tools, operational rhythms, and other mechanisms to measure, monitor and optimize these projects.

  • Communicate roadmap and plans to management and the broader company, along with cross-functional MES software product development teams.

  • Work with multiple teams across the organization to define and implement new manufacturing processes via iterative delivery of software solutions

  • Perform analytics on data to drive business decisions and iterate on our products

  • Anticipate business needs with proposals and system solutions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent

  • 8+ years as a product manager, engineering manager, or similar role

  • 5+ years hands-n experience working in warehouse automation and logistics, including custom software design.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proven ability to leverage data in decision-making

  • Experience working with software engineering teams in a hands-on capacity as a product manager, engineering manager, or similar role

  • Experience with lean and agile software development methodology

  • A demonstrated history of becoming an expert in an unfamiliar domain

  • Intense curiosity for understanding the details of our business and how to continuously improve it

  • Outstanding organizational and analytical skills and a proven ability to drive sophisticated projects with minimal oversight

  • Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with and communicate with a diverse user base

  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion

  • Experience with high-performance systems for aerospace applications

  • Strong communication and presentation skills for senior leaders

Paid Time Off: Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays.
