New Graduate Engineers may select from full-time two options: the New Graduate Rotation Program, or direct opportunities on one of our engineering teams. This application will ask you which opportunity you would prefer. If you identify interest in the Rotation Program you will be considered for that role before being considered for other opportunities. This is the only application you will need to submit to be considered for both pathways.

New Graduate Rotation Program:

Gain hands-on experience and expand your engineering skillset through diverse hands-on experiences and mentorship. During your three, four-month rotations, you’ll explore a variety of fields in support of our business units: New Shepard, New Glenn, Blue Engines, Lunar Transportation, and Space Systems Development. After the year-long program you’ll partner with the Program Manager to decide which team is the best fit moving forward.

Direct Hire Opportunities:

You may want to get straight to work in your targeted field. In that case, we will consider you for direct hire onto one of our engineering teams in support of our business units New Shepard, New Glenn, Blue Engines, Lunar Transportation, and Space Systems Development.

Responsibilities:

  • Based upon your desired career path, your projects may involve all aspects of GNC engineering including guidance, navigation, controls, autonomy, avionics, simulation, system test, aerosciences, and systems engineering
  • Specific duties are subject to our business unit objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a B.S. degree in physics, aerospace engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team on rapid development programs.
  • Relevant internship/co-op and academic project experience that demonstrate development of both technical skills as well as leadership qualities.
  • Self-driven with the ability to seek out requirements with minimal direction.
  • Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for Blue’s Mission with a strong desire to continuously learn and improve.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Desired:

  • M.S. degree or PhD in physics, aerospace engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering.

Compensation range for on site CO applicants is $84,728- $124,267

Employee Benefits include: Medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, paid parental leave (must be employed at time of birth or adoption), short and long-term disability, 401(k) with a company match of up to 5%, and an Education Support Program available after 1 year of service.

Paid Time Off: Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays for all regular employees (including part-time), fixed-term, and interns.

Discretionary bonus: Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay. Bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
