Position Purpose: As a Production Planner I, you will be using your skills and expertise to plan and schedule the movement of raw materials, parts, components, services, supplies, finished goods, and related material through our production and inventory process. You'll be responsible for monitoring production activity to ensure a smooth and controlled flow of materials timed to meet our production requirements. You'll troubleshoot potential scheduling problems, provide solutions, and track production and material deficiencies.

Pay Range: $50,000-$90,000
(Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead/Assist on multiple projects of low-med complexity and
- Assists Program Managers managing projects and reporting status
- Coordinate/track and expedite all hardware needed to support testing and customer shipments
- Runs a weekly Open WO report to manage dates according to schedule needs and KPI goals
- Prioritize WOs through internal processes as needed to meet scheduled dates and Customer Deliveries
- Read and execute ERP/MRP to meet schedule requirements
- Work ECO deployments as assigned to implement engineering changes and rework
- Create and maintain tracking and stoplight trackers to support team updates and material status
- Execute & monitor the schedule to meet or exceed stakeholder and customer expectations
- Accountable for hundreds of in process jobs
- Verify kits for documentation and part accuracy before releasing to production
- Internal Work Order movements through internal processes and work centers (WIP) focusing on ESD practices and safe hardware movement
- Review Non-Conformances and applied dispositions accordingly with assistance
- Provide continued information to update project schedules: write and maintain manufacturing routers, configuration requirements, and material traceability
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications/Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Logistics or some college preferred, or related field of study and at least 3 years of relevant experience
- Understanding of Supply Chain Management
- Understanding of Multi-level BOMs and resource scheduling
- Experience with MRP/ERP Systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong regard for product quality and safety standards
- Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education
Working Conditions:
This job operates in a professional office environment, but in a manufacturing company. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines. BCT anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted.
