• You define and develop surface treatment processes for our high-performance products.
• You optimize the adhesive bonds between the liner (metal) and overwrap (CFRP).
• You revise and standardize surface cleaning and pretreatment processes throughout the company.
• You lead the further development of surface pretreatment methods (e.g., physical and chemical) as well as surface preservation processes (e.g., priming).
• You document, analyze, and optimize process parameters to ensure consistently high quality.
• You work closely with quality and manufacturing teams to analyze deviations and implement sustainable solutions.

• Education & background: You’ve completed degree in mechanical engineering, production engineering, materials engineering, or comparable qualification.
• Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Materials Science, or a comparable qualification.
• Strong knowledge of adhesives and surface chemistry.
• Experience with surface treatments (e.g., blasting, plasma, chemical degreasing).
• Familiar with metal-to-CFRP bonding and its specific challenges.
• Analytical, structured work style with a strong focus on quality.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills: You can confidently interact in both German and English – written and spoken.
