Key responsibilities include:
- Repairs production equipment, plant equipment and related systems, particularly when concerned with electrical malfunctions
- Uses machine tools and hand tools working with a variety of metals and other materials, within prescribed tolerances as directed
- Analyzes malfunctioning machines and systems (electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, etc.), recommends correction action, and makes electrical or other type repairs, or modifications, as approval by supervision
- Maintains a working understanding of plant production processes, equipment, systems, and facilities in order to perform maintenance effectively, under general directions
- Work in cooperation with engineering, technical, and production supervisory or outside of the company personnel when directed.
- Uses past practices, basic data tables, hand brakes, and technical reference to determine electrical equipment, materials, size, and other working data for the approval by the supervisor
- Analyzes and repairs specialized equipment heavily dependent upon electronic controls, electromechanical mechanisms, and related components under general direction.
- Gets required tools, equipment, and instruments; clean up and store as necessary.
- Installs, maintains, as well as patches electromechanical, electrical, and digital components of machinery and hardware, featuring transformers, generators exciters, and hydraulic as well as pneumatic tools.
- Carries out precautionary repair and maintenance of field, plant, as well as electronic outlet and electrical techniques, gadgets, devices and components.
- Examines solid-state circuitry to uncover defective aspects in electronic digital and analog devices and changing substandard components.
- Builds advancements as well as significant upgrades to plant electrical subsystems and subsystems.
- Ensures the accurate and appropriate completion of all precautionary service responsibilities.
- Carries out a variety of knowledgeable jobs in the building, model, installation, routine maintenance, calibration, testing, and repair of digital command processes as well as electrical processes.
- Implement ISO standard or other similar international standard if any.
Knowledge and experience required:
- At least a recognized Certification/Diploma in Electrical Technician field, or a Degree in Electrical Technician related field.
- At least 3 years of work experience in electrical field.
- Hands on experience in troubleshooting skills and familiarity with hazardous classifications
- Familiar with computer software programs, such as Microsoft Office and CAD (computer-aided design).
- Working experiences in a manufacturing plant preferable.
- Fluency in Myanmar language.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Able to work in a team.
