Position summary:
You will oversee maintenance programs and initiatives for Beverage Packaging in EMEA production plants. This role focuses on maximizing equipment uptime through overhaul, audit, repair, and critical spare part management.
The Senior Manager will lead and develop the Rebuild Facility engineering team, managing all aspects of the facility, including staff development, training, and ensuring safe, efficient operations. Additionally, they will oversee the planning and execution of major equipment overhauls and rebuilds across the EMEA.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment, promoting a culture of safety, health, and quality.
- Lead the Maintenance Rebuild Facility Team, including technicians, to plan, develop, and execute projects that support the Maintenance of the EMEA Production Line Assets.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Director and SMEs to provide technical support for plants, licensees, and joint ventures, ensuring proper installation, troubleshooting, and corrective actions.
- Coordinate resources within the facility, manage budgets, and represent the Rebuild Facility in internal and external matters.
- Oversee team development, performance monitoring, and career planning to optimize results.
- Network with Global Engineering and EMEA manufacturing, leading customer and product improvement initiatives and acting as a technical liaison.
- Ensure enterprise connectivity by coordinating with various departments and conducting regular meetings to achieve business objectives.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in an international manufacturing company.
- Knowledge of contracts and specifications.
- Excellent program/project management skills.
- A demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically from a holistic thinking/systems perspective.
- Excellent communication skills - verbal, written and presentation.
- Financial literacy and business acumen with the ability to objectively assess projects and teams and meet cost, margin, and profitability targets.
- Fluent in English.
