Position overview:
The Commercial Operations and Analytics leader is a key role within the organization, responsible for leading the commercial operations and analytics function to drive business growth and optimize commercial effectiveness. This role involves overseeing sales operations, demand planning, pipeline management, sales analytics, and business intelligence to support strategic decision-making and achieve business objectives. The Commercial Operations and Analytics Manager collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including commercial, strategy, marketing, IBP, and finance to streamline processes, improve performance, and maximize revenue opportunities.


Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and oversee sales operations activities, including developing and implementing pipeline management (analysis of pipeline sufficiency), demand planning and forecasting

• Drive best practices relative to commercial operations scope to improve sales efficiency and effectiveness

• Provide guidance and support to the commercial teams on sales tools, systems, and processes to enhance productivity and performance

• Collaborate with commercial and marketing leadership to develop pricing strategies/guidelines and revenue optimization initiatives to maximize profitability and revenue growth

• Analyze pricing data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify pricing opportunities and risks; generate regular reports, dashboards, and analyses to communicate commercial performance and trends to stakeholders

• Lead the development and implementation of sales analytics and reporting capabilities to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making

• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure commercial performance, track progress against goals, and identify areas for improvement

• Define customer segmentation/stratification to appropriately prioritize customers when trade-offs occur

• Develop and maintain business intelligence systems and tools to facilitate data analysis, reporting, and forecasting

• Conduct advanced analytics, including segmentation, predictive modeling, and trend analysis, to support strategic planning and forecasting

• Lead initiatives to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and eliminate bottlenecks in commercial operations and analytics processes


What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Analytics, or related field

• Experience doing commercial operations, sales operations, revenue management

• Working knowledge of Commercial sales process, onboarding customers, customer requirements, CRMs and business tools

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques

• Experience with sales analytics platforms, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels

• Fluent in English language
