Position overview:
You will provide technical and analytical support to the Energy Procurement team for all activities associated with energy sourcing, renewable energy analysis, and renewable energy projects. In this role, you will be pivotal to the successful operations of the team, as well as help drive Ball’s energy and sustainability objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist in managing the tendering process for power and gas contracts.

• Conduct energy analysis and renewable energy project evaluations to support Ball's sustainability goals.

• Collaborate with the Sustainability team to report emissions data and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

• Gather and analyse data to provide insight on Ball’s commodity and non-commodity spend as a whole identifying potential opportunities and impact.

• Maintain and update energy data trackers, ensuring all information is current and accurate.

• Play a key role in the redesign and management of Ball’s energy and renewable energy positions reporting and management system.

• Communicate with utilities, local distribution companies, and public utility commissions to gather timely, accurate, and complete energy market intelligence, including offers and offer follow-ups.

• Manage the preparation and submission of energy budgets, incorporating renewable energy costs and savings.
• Track all energy usage forecasts, ensuring updates are communicated to every supplier on a quarterly basis.

• Track Natural Gas & Electricity invoices on a monthly basis and follow up with plants for any missing information.

• Audit all energy hedges on a quarterly basis, including those related to renewable energy.

• Track contract renewals, ensure all contracts are countersigned and uploaded into the contracts database.

What are we looking for?

• BA or Graduates in Business, Mathematics, Economics or Engineering.
• Numerate and Analytical background with and with a high proficiency in Excel and data manipulation.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels and cultures/geographies.
• Strong Project Management skills
• Proactive doer that quickly takes ownership and leads.
• Ability to think strategically both in the short-term and long-term.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
