POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a resilient, high-energy, experienced System Performance Analyst to support the EVA SE&I team. The System Performance Analyst will be responsible for assessing, tracking, and reporting overall system performance of the EVA spacesuit.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement integrated system performance analysis metrics for the Axiom EVA program.
Identify and track key technical performance metrics that demonstrate the Axiom space suit’s performance, such as system mass and power consumption.
Develop and implement mechanisms for maturing these metrics as system fidelity increases.
Collaborate across the organization to ensure system metrics are up to date, and coordinate integration of analysis products for NASA delivery.
Create and maintain system performance dashboards and other data visualization tools.
Identify opportunities to optimize the system architecture, performance and management of consumable resources of the space suit.
Support other Systems Engineering and Integration functions as needed.
Promptly communicate project progress, status, and potential issues to stakeholders and leadership, backed by supporting technical data.
Implement and maintain agile project management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
Perform additional job duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field required.
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience, or educational equivalent.
Experience presenting technical data to a broad range of technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience performing engineering analyses, including but not limited to mass analysis, consumables analysis, thermal analysis, power systems analysis, etc.
Track record of delivering outcomes in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
Uses good judgement to problem-solve proactively, positively impacting hard challenges.
Proven to deliver high quality results under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field
Experience in systems engineering and space flight system development
Experience leading design trades and performance assessments
INCOSE Certification a plus.
Experience with tracking key system data (e.g. mass, power) to assess system design performance.
Experience with defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and applying best practices
Familiarity with performing work in an Agile environment, with Jira, Confluence, Jama, and other collaborative development tools
Certification as an INCOSE certified systems engineering professional desired

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.
Requirements
Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which the position is advertised.
Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet critical project milestones.
