Embedded Firmware Engineer - Power Electronics

We are looking for an embedded firmware engineer with power electronics experience to join our team and help drive hardware projects through their life cycle: starting with requirements generation, concept development, detail design, manufacturing, and finally testing and commissioning. The ideal candidate will thrive in a start-up environment and be excited to work with a small, high-performing, and hands-on team.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors, Masters or Ph.D in electrical engineering or similar field
- Fundamental knowledge of power electronics and electric machines
- Experience in programming and using Microcontrollers and FPGAs
- Experience with electric motor control, power inverters, and DC converters firmware is a plus
- Strong comprehension of design fundamentals
- Willingness to work in a hands-on, constantly evolving environment
- Detail-oriented and capable of effectively prioritizing and executing tasks
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Applied engineering experience in power electronics (firmware and hardware)
- Relevant experience, such as previous employment, laboratory work, or personal/team projects
- Familiarity with Altium Designer (or similar software)
