Astrolab is seeking a Cloud and Infrastructure Manager to lead and oversee all cloud environments and local infrastructure. This role provides strategic direction and hands on leadership across security architecture, cloud platforms, and infrastructure engineering.

What You'll Do:
- Lead cloud initiatives and drive strategic innovation across the organization
- Manage, mentor, and guide cloud engineers and IT staff, fostering a collaborative and high performing environment
- Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of scalable and secure cloud architectures, including IaaS and PaaS
- Implement security policies, controls, and audit standards across cloud infrastructure and data
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, optimize costs, and ensure high availability
- Manage relationships with cloud service providers and oversee infrastructure budgets
- Develop and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery plans
- Leverage tools such as Terraform for Infrastructure as Code to automate deployments
- Oversee all corporate wireless and physical network infrastructure
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies by developing governance frameworks for risk, security, and operational control, including NIST 800-171 and NIST 800-53
- Assist the Sr. Director of IT across all aspects of cybersecurity initiatives
What’s Prepared You:
- Associate degree or higher in an information technology related field, or a high school diploma or equivalent with 5 or more years of experience in an IT Manager or Senior Cloud Engineer role
- Knowledge of major cloud platforms including Azure Commercial, Azure Government, and Azure GCCH, with experience in other cloud platforms considered a plus
- Strong management, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to lead cross functional teams
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Azure Fundamentals or equivalent AWS, GCP, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure certifications
- Experience working in environments subject to CMMC requirements
Ability to bend, crouch, reach, and crawl on occasion, including tasks such as running network cables and installing hardware
