What you'll do:
- Production Lineside Kanban: Daily counts of materials in Lineside locations, updating the kanban indicator, and replenishing from storage.
- Inventory Counting Project: Identify and create the necessary physical and system processes to execute a fast, smooth, and accurate Year-End Inventory Count. Included in this would be any necessary pre-counts, cycle counts, re-organizations, and system or process updates.
- Production Kitting: Assist with the Kitting process, identifying and executing against any opportunities for improvement in picking, labeling, storing, or delivering to the production floor
- Inventory Control: Collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement teams to ensure optimal stock levels and avoid disruptions in production
- Shipping and Logistics: Physically package and electronically arrange shipping out of components to suppliers and customers
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, and finance teams to align inventory control activities with project timelines and budgetary constraints
What you'll bring:
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Logistics)
- Experience: At least 3 months of applied warehouse and inventory control in a related industry
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Visio, and Powerpoint
- Familiarity with procurement in manufacturing, technology, or aerospace industries is a huge plus
