What you'll do:
- Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining the FLEX rover’s navigation, perception, control, and mission operations software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, mechanical engineers, and avionics engineers, to ensure seamless integration of software solutions
- Participate in software testing and debugging to ensure reliability and performance in extreme environments
- Contribute to developing tools and scripts for data analysis and mission simulation
- Engage in code reviews and contribute to software documentation
- Stay updated with the latest robotics, software engineering, and space exploration advancements
What’s Prepared You:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's or master's degree in a STEM-related field
- Experience working with robotics and vehicles
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or similar general-purpose programming languages
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Passion for space technology and a keen interest in robotics and vehicles.
