Mechanic Helper - Temporary

We seek a motivated and detail-oriented Aerospace Mechanic Helper to assist our team of experienced aerospace mechanics in the maintenance, repair, and assembly of aerospace components. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in aerospace technology and mechanics, be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and follow precise instructions while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
This is a temporary position for up to six months, depending on project timelines.

What you'll do:
- Assist aerospace mechanics in the maintenance, inspection, and repair of aerospace systems
- Handle and organize tools, parts, and equipment for the mechanic team
- Assist with disassembling and reassembling ground support equipment
- Clean, lubricate, and inspect shop machinery
- Follow technical manuals and instructions to ensure repairs and maintenance are completed accurately and safely
- Assist with inventory management by keeping track of tools, parts, and materials
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards
- Support the production and test team in preparation of various system test configurations
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Help with documentation and reporting of equipment maintenance activities and inspections
- Perform daily and weekly checklist
- Unpackage receivable items and support packaging of outgoing products
What you'll bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent (mechanical or technical courses a plus)
- Previous experience in a mechanical or aerospace-related field is preferred but not required
- Strong interest in aerospace mechanics
- Basic knowledge of mechanical tools, systems, and aircraft components is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work under supervision
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious attitude
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and undergo on-the-job training
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in confined spaces or at heights
- Must be able to lift and carry equipment, parts, and tools up to 50lbs
