LTVS Program Engineer

The LTVS Program Management Office (PMO) is responsible for technical, programmatic, and safety deliverables and milestones in support of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Lunar Terrain Vehicle Services, and the LTVS Program Engineer plays a key role in integrating inputs from across engineering design, production, and testing in support of this NASA program.

What you'll do:
- Supporting the certification and human-rating effort required to provide rover services to NASA on the lunar surface
- Supporting the planning and documentation of the verification method for each NASA requirement
- Assisting the engineering and programmatic teams in meeting with NASA to clarify interpretations of the requirements
- Supporting the LTVS PMO in generating engineering cost estimates and managing work on special task studies
- Supporting LTVS contractual milestones and other obligations as required by the LTVS PMO
- Understand NASA’s technical, programmatic, and safety requirements
- Capture, report, and analyze quality objective data
- Generate content for and participate in management review meetings
- Manage documented information in support of program execution
- Support goals and objectives of AS9100
What you'll bring:
- Bachelors degree in any major engineering discipline
- 5+ years’ experience in systems engineering practices
- Skilled in use of Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in leading small teams
- Preferred experience with JIRA or similar requirements tracking tools
- Preferred experience in NASA Systems Engineering practices
- Preferred experience in rapid spiral development methodologies
