This role is vital for maintaining the optimal environment for innovation, ensuring compliance with regulations, and aligning our facilities with organizational goals. This is a startup environment with all that entails - we move quick, often have short deadlines and ask our team to do the seemingly impossible happen.</div> <div>‍</div> <div> <strong>Responsibilities</strong>:</div> <ul> <li>Oversee and coordinate all aspects of facilities management, including maintenance, safety protocols, and space optimization.</li> <li>Plan and execute construction projects from design to completion, ensuring they meet specifications, budgets, and timelines.</li> <li>Utilize internal and external resources effectively to manage AstroForge headquarters facility operations, including maintenance, repair, and upgrade activities, ensuring optimal functioning of buildings and associated equipment.</li> <li>Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations, building codes, and permitting requirements at the state, county, and local levels.</li> <li>Ensure maintenance work adheres to safety standards, meets specifications, and that work orders are tracked and completed within budget guidelines.</li> <li>Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to align facilities and construction projects with organizational objectives.</li> </ul> <div><br></div> <div> <strong>Requirements</strong>:</div> <ul> <li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing facilities and maintaining equipment within highly regulated manufacturing environments such as Aerospace, Automotive, Semiconductor, or similar industries.</li> <li>Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects and facilities operations.</li> <li>Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.</li> <li>Excellent communication and organizational skills.</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.</li> </ul> <div>‍</div> <div><br></div> <div><br></div> <div><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></div> <div>‍</div> <ul> <li>Experience in managing cleanrooms</li> <li>Expertise in facilities systems and improvement projects</li> <li>Skills in occupational health and safety, including risk assessment, policy, training, project management, hazardous substances, and safety in manufacturing engineering</li> <li>Knowledge and practical experience in emergency management and workplace hygiene</li> </ul> <div>‍</div> <div><strong>Benefits</strong></div> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA provided</li> <li>Life insurance coverage</li> <li>Retirement savings plan – 401(k), with company match</li> <li>Stock options in AstroForge</li> </ul> <div>‍</div> <div><strong>Salary</strong></div> <div><strong>110k - 150k</strong></div> <div>‍</div> <div><strong>ITAR Requirements</strong></div> <div><br></div> <div>To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S.,protected individual as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15) or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.</div> <div><br></div> <div><em>We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
