Position Summary
The Spacecraft Integration Technician is responsible for the assembly, integration, and test of complex satellite subsystems and payloads. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong manual dexterity, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced team environment.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on assembly, integration, and test of satellite subsystems, including: Electronics modules, Mechanical structures, Propulsion systems, Antennas, and Payloads.
- Collaborate with the Test Engineering Team for functional and performance tests on integrated subsystems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
- Maintain detailed records of all assembly, integration, and test activities.
- Adhere to strict quality control procedures and cleanroom protocols.
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure all integration activities are performed in accordance with design specifications and project timelines.
- Assist in the development and improvement of integration and test procedures.
- Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment within the cleanroom.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in electronics assembly, electrical integration, or test within a highly technical, precision-focused environment.
- Proficiency in electronic rework, including component replacement, touch-up, solder reflow, and SMT/through-hole soldering to industry standards
- Strong experience building and routing wire harnesses, including crimping, connector terminations, cable dressing, shielding, and continuity checks.
- Ability to read, understand, and troubleshoot from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with torque tools, torque procedures, and mechanical fastening used in spacecraft or high-reliability assemblies.
- Solid understanding of basic electronics principles, circuit behavior, grounding, and power distribution.
- Excellent manual dexterity, hand–eye coordination, and fine motor skills for precision assembly.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform accurate, repeatable work.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional integration team.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- IPC Solder Certifications
- Experience with Spacecraft Lifting and Handling Procedures.
- Experience working on developmental satellite systems is a strong advantage.
- Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
- Experience with space-qualified components.
- Experience with soldering techniques for surface mount devices (SMDs).
Pay Transparency

Physical Demands
This position requires the ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 Lbs. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching may be required.
