Role: Electrical Engineer – Grid

Location: South Italy (hybrid)

Salary: €60,000 DOE

Piper Maddox are proud to partner with a very well renowned IPP who have been operating in the market for over 25+ years. They boast an impressive pipeline in Italy standing at over 2GW in development, and over 300MW planned to enter construction shortly.

As they enter another key growth phase, my client are looking to bring in an Electrical Engineer who can bring a good level of expertise to the existing engineering team. This opportunity will give you a chance to work across the whole project lifecycle and grow into a leader within the business.

Key requirements of the role:

• Seeking an Electrical Engineer with renewable energy experience, ideally within Solar PV, and a strong understanding of grid infrastructure.
• Responsible for managing electrical engineering activities throughout execution and construction phases, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Leading grid connection activities via Terna portals, including connection strategy development and technical coordination.
• Producing MV/HV layouts, single-line diagrams, electrical sizing, and grid connection designs for PV, Wind, and BESS projects.
• Supporting development activities through yield assessments, grid analysis, and preparation of technical and administrative documentation for MV/HV connection solutions.

Key Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering within renewable energy projects
• HV experience
• Knowledge of Grid Infrastructure
