We’re supporting a leading global renewable energy developer and operator with a strong international footprint and a multi-technology portfolio across wind, solar, and other clean energy assets. The business is part of a major global energy group with a long-standing commitment to driving the energy transition and delivering large-scale infrastructure projects across multiple markets.

With a significant pipeline of projects in Southern Italy, they are now strengthening their construction function with the appointment of a Construction Senior Specialist to support the delivery of complex utility-scale energy assets.

Role Overview

This role sits within the construction delivery team and will be responsible for overseeing key technical and execution elements across large-scale renewable energy projects. You will act as a key interface between contractors, engineering, procurement, and operations, ensuring delivery is aligned with cost, schedule, and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage detailed technical execution plans and construction specifications
  • Oversee contractor performance and ensure delivery against defined project milestones
  • Monitor and analyse project performance across cost, schedule, and quality metrics
  • Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, and operations teams throughout project delivery
  • Identify, manage, and escalate technical and operational risks where required
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across construction delivery processes

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (advanced qualifications advantageous)
  • Strong background in construction project execution, ideally within energy or infrastructure
  • Solid understanding of construction contracts, technical standards, and project controls
  • Proven ability to coordinate across multi-disciplinary and international teams
  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • Experience delivering renewable energy or large-scale power generation projects is highly beneficial
  • Exposure to large utility or complex multinational environments is advantageous
