We’re hiring an Energy Contracts Manager to join a growing renewables-focused team supporting a portfolio of generation assets.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and interpret Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations
- Be responsible for a small portfolio of operational projects to stay plugged into to the day to day contract management and settlements tasks.
- Lead settlements across power, capacity, and environmental products (e.g., RECs), including reconciliations and revenue validation
- Act as a subject matter expert on contract terms, revenue drivers, and risk exposure
- Support M&A activity, contract negotiations, and asset optimization initiatives
- Partner cross-functionally with accounting, operations, legal, and external counterparties
- Drive process improvements, reporting, and automation initiatives
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in energy/power contract management or settlements
- Strong understanding of PPAs and wholesale power markets (e.g., ISO/RTOs)
- Ability to analyze complex agreements and identify key risks and financial impacts
- Strong Excel and analytical skills; experience with ETRMs is a plus
- Excellent communication and project management capabilities
