Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in composite structural design to support the development, analysis, and production of advanced composite structures. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on engineering experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete the design, analysis, and recurring engineering support for composite structure manufacturing.
- Troubleshoot and investigate anomalies and failures, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve composite structure non-conformances.
- Develop structural configurations, testing requirements, materials, processes, and tooling.
- Create and maintain mechanical/structural design documentation, manufacturing drawings, and detailed CAD models.
- Prepare and present technical information for design and readiness reviews with management and peers.
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing/production teams to ensure effective transfer of information and documentation of processes.
- Evaluate, recommend, and champion new technologies and methods to enhance performance and efficiency.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design, integration, and testing of composite structures.
- Strong technical expertise in composite structural design and design for manufacturability.
- CAD program experience required (Autodesk Inventor preferred; NX, CATIA, SolidWorks, and CREO also considered).
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in aerospace or space composite structural design and analysis.

- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy of documentation and project deliverables.
Technology Stack:
- CAD Tools: NX, CATIA, SolidWorks, CREO.
- Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
- Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
