Job Description
Location: Travel required around South East, Crystal Palace and surrounding areas
Total Package
- Up to £34,000 base salary
- 5% Shift Allowance
- Paid Overtime

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in an on-call rota to provide 24/7 fault response to maintain service continuity
- Complete planned works and maintenance on a range of systems and networks, DAB, FM, AM etc
- Respond to faults and service outages and complete corrective maintenance in line with Arqiva standards, policies and procedures
- Support upgrades and modifications to existing RF (Radio frequency) systems and networks following agreed instructions
- Maintain accurate records, documentation and reporting of actions taken
- Complete testing and measurements to ensure compliance with regulatory, industry and customer requirements
- Engage with customers and build positive working relationships
- Career progression next step in your career would be to become an engineer
Preferred experience:
- Must have a Clean driving license
- Some knowledge of the development, testing and maintenance of software/hardware for Broadcast, IP Network, IOT or corporate application depending on technical area of expertise
- Working knowledge of systems and equipment relevant to role such as RF systems, DVB, Analogue Radio, DAB, Microwaves, Sat Comms, Data Networks, Telecoms etc.;.
- Working knowledge of the principles of power supplies, environmental controls, analogue and digital electronics
- Working knowledge of and able to apply Safety, Health and Environment legislation, policies and procedures
- Be prepared to work away from home at times
- Electrical knowledge (NVQ level 3 electrical qualifications) is not required but would be nice to have
