Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in regulatory accounting and compliance? Join our dynamic team as a Finance Manager and make a significant impact on our financial operations. Reporting to the Head of Finance Compliance & Control, you'll manage regulatory accounting processes, prepare external reports, and tackle complex accounting tasks. Here's what you'll be doing:

• Lead Regulatory Accounting: Own and manage the regulatory accounting process, collaborating with commercial, operational, and finance teams to ensure accurate transaction segmentation and allocation for regulatory accounts.
• Ensure Compliance: Produce supporting analysis and evidence in line with RAPM, ensuring clean audit reports and timely filings.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Regularly review RAPM and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including the Adjudicator.
• Oversee External Audits: Manage external audits and maintain strong relationships with auditors, the Audit and Risk Committee, and other appointed accountants.
• Strengthen Internal Controls: Conduct annual reviews of the Internal Regulatory Accounts Control Framework and implement business changes to maintain reporting integrity.
• Provide Technical Guidance: Stay updated on accounting principles and audit requirements, offering proactive technical financial accounting guidance.
• Review Complex Contracts: Regularly assess complex contracts to ensure appropriate accounting and provisioning.
• Drive Special Projects: Lead special accounting projects that impact regulatory accounts, supporting the group's strategic plans.

• Expert in Technical Accounting: Proven track record in technical accounting and financial control, with extensive experience engaging external auditors.
• Knowledgeable and Skilled: Deep understanding of current technical accounting principles and complex contract accounting.
• Excel Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Analytical and Articulate: Strong business analytics and report writing capabilities, with experience at board level and managing external stakeholder relationships.
• Qualified Professional: ACA or ACCA qualified accountant.
