Job Description
Location: We operate a flexible, hybrid working environment with the candidate required to travel to either our Winchester or London office once or twice a week.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safe running of projects under CDM and in accordance with Arqiva SHE procedures and policies.
- Manage multiple disciplines on site, including air and ground works entailing civils, M&E, RF Feeder, technical infrastructure, mast works, security components and engineering.
- Review and approve delivery partners RAMS and ensure work is undertaken accordingly.
- Action pre-start meetings to issue the Authority to Proceed works.
- Drive site works measured against tight time scales to maintain the program, escalate or resolve on site issues.
- Provide high level reports to Senior Stakeholders, and Project team on site progress, forecasted work and highlight any risks or issues.
- Monitor and promote the DWB and wellbeing on site and help maintain the AFR (Accident Frequency Rate) to the required levels, promote a positive and safe working environment.
- Be accountable for the creation and maintain the CPP so that it correctly reflects the program and ensure that this is communicated to the wider project team and delivery partners, including raising the F10 and site set-up.
- Undertake daily H&S inspections and communicate all safety points to site personnel.
- Ensure compliance and continued accreditation to ISO 14001, ISO 50001, and OHSAS 18001 is maintained.
- Provide quality assurance and ensure work is carried out to the highest standards, ensure snags and unfit works are rectified, audit and check sites for CDM and SHE standards that may be run by Arqiva or delivery partners.
- Drive and deliver team engagement.
- Be accountable for site surveys to help define Scope of Work
- Ensure the correct data is captured on As-built and residual risks for the H&S file
- Ensure all work elements are carried out in line with the current drawing revisions contractors are using the correct revisions and SoW.
- Be accountable to ensure all contractors have the correct work permits in place.
- Ensure daily huddles, TBT’s and other communications are set and maintained.
- Assist and educate the portfolio and engineering teams in CDM awareness and SHE practices.
Qualifications:
- SMSTS
- First Aid at Work (3 day)
- Trauma training
- Banksman
- IOSH
- Temporary Works Coordinator/Supervisor desirable
- NEBOSH desirable
Required Expertise:
- Experienced in the role of Site Management and delivery of major capital projects in the Broadcast, Telecommunications and Construction industries.
- Experience of working within a high profile, highly sensitive operational environment
- Proven experience in CDM managed projects
- Experience of Health and Safety requirements, and its relevance within the project process, and the key elements for ensuring safe systems of work.
- Proven ability to operate in a highly motivated team, with excellent team building skills, and ability to train and development oneself and others.
Required Technical / Professional Skillset(s):
- A good understanding of RF Awareness
- Good interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a project team, and to develop good working relationships / practices with internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Willingness to work under tight time and budgetary constraints.
- Proficient in the use of a range of IT and Microsoft Office suites
- Strong understanding of civil, M&E, technical infrastructure and mast work activities
