Job Description

Warehouse Coordinator - 6 months FTC
Working on site as warehouse coordinator you will be instrumental in managing the stock activity to ensure effective delivery of products to Arqiva clients, management of stock activity and producing accurate shipping documentation.

Location On site Daventry (Monday – Friday)

Total Package

  • up to £25k depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all Warehouse Safety, Health and Environment Policies, to ensure and maintain a safe and healthy working environment
  • Accurate and efficient Goods In and Goods Out activity, including Goods receipt activity within the Finance/Inventory tool
  • Signing for shipments upon receipt and verifying that the correct merchandise has been received
  • Thoroughly inspecting merchandise for any damages and discrepancies
  • Effective retention/filing of all Goods Inwards / Returns paperwork
  • Promptly processing distribution orders and requests, which includes retrieving specified units from storage as well as packing, sealing and labelling accordingly
  • Production of accurate shipping documentation
  • Ensuring received goods are booked into the warehouse and asset systems accurately
  • Ensuring all received goods are made safe ready for storage
  • Moving goods into storage locations safely ensuring all warehouse and asset systems are updated accurately
  • Ensuring all received good returns are made safe ready for storage
  • Ensuring all received faulty returns are correctly booked for repair
  • Clear communication with all 3rd party logistics partners
  • Perform all stock control activity including cycle count
  • Maintaining inventory accuracy (physical pick and system updates)
  • Assist with designing areas of storage that promote better product movement
  • Establish a collaborative working partnership with all departments

Required Expertise:

  • Experience of working in a technical 'Goods Out/In or Returns' environment
  • Experience of a picking environment and accurate picking from either paper pick sheets or RDT
  • Experience of creating accurate shipping and import/export paperwork in line with policy
  • Experience of Warehouse, Inventory and Asset systems
  • Experience of communicating with remote workers
  • Experience of using a forklift and other mechanical manual handling aids (training can be provided)

Required Technical / Professional Skillset(s):

  • Competent operating and using an industry standard inventory and order management system
  • Able to use MS Office tools effectively (Outlook, Teams, Excel)
  • Excellent packing skills to ensure broadcast and networking equipment will arrive at its destination safely
  • Great communication, able to act as primary contact for all Warehouse and Logistics queries
  • Capable of independent working, managing multiple daily tasks in line with system scheduled activity
  • Strong 'team' ethic and willingness to support other team members
  • Ability to take the initiative and problem solve
  • Proven ability to effectively complete tasks to deadlines
  • Diligent attention to detail and safety
