Today, there have been more Earth imaging satellites launched than ever before, but the market is incredibly fragmented. It can take up to 9 months for a business to negotiate commercial access to a satellite operators' imaging services. Complex licensing agreements are difficult to navigate and none of the data between different suppliers is standardised. These problems can cause huge issues for new businesses, government agencies or individuals looking to utilise satellite imagery or integrate this unique dataset into novel applications.
