ABOUT THE JOB

Anduril is seeking a Specialist, Accounts Receivable to join our dynamic, growing Accounting team located at our Irvine, CA location. This role will support our government and commercial contracts process with timely billing, reconciliation, reporting and collection of customer payments on these contracts. We’re looking for someone who has excellent attention to detail and strong organization and communication skills with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Prepare, process, and submit invoices to customers using government portals and other methods as required by the contract and customer.
  • Maintain a billing schedule and forecast to ensure that contracts are billed timely.
  • Develop and maintain receivable aging report for past due accounts and is responsible for investigation, analysis, escalation, and resolution to ensure timely payment.
  • Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable ledger accounts, financial statements, and reports on a monthly basis.
  • Be responsible for cash collection forecasting and ad hoc reporting of billing and collection efforts.
  • Assist with month end close reconciliations.
  • Identify allowable vs. unallowable costs based on the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) guidance.
  • Establish systems to streamline the government accounting process for travel and other expenses associated with government contracts.
  • Assist in the review of all expenses associated with projects and determine if they are reasonable in nature and follow all government accounting guidelines.
  • Play an active role in government audits and maintain accountability records.
  • Prepare a variety of reports relative to unallowable and allowable spend for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create and accurately code invoices aligned with company practices.
  • Build and maintain active working relationships with Business Unit leaders and partners for optimal coordination and cooperation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of government accounting experience (FAR Part 31).
  • 6+ years of accounts receivable experience.
  • Knowledgeable with Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
  • Experience with financial accounting systems (Oracle Fusion).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, queries/macros, pivot tables, etc.).
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across departments.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.
US Salary Range
$86,000$114,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
