As the Head of Facilities and Real Estate, you will own the facilities strategy, acquisition, build, and sustainment functions end-to-end. In this role you will be expected to drive Anduril’s broader facilities growth, working closely with our Strategic Real Estate team, to understand and project the company’s needs over the 5-10 yr time horizon while maintaining capability for our rapid growth near-term. This includes office, flexible R&D, and full-rate production industrial spaces.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, you will also be responsible for the full suite of workplace operations that are required to maintain our company culture everyday. Food and beverage, workplace planning and efficiency, building management and maintenance all fall under your umbrella.

In the middle? Construction will be a large focus. Managing a multi-million square foot portfolio that is rapidly expanding globally across all of the varieties of spaces mentioned above. Driving build timelines and cost efficiency to manage our scaling enterprise is critical.

This role is far reaching, and crucial for Anduril’s success. Having world-class facilities is required to deliver world-class capabilities to our customers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own laying out and implementing a global facility strategy that can accommodate rapid growth and set Anduril up for future stability and success.
• Hire and grow high-performing teams to enable the facilities organization to support the creation and delivery of world-class, next-generation systems for the warfighter.
• Ensure that the support infrastructure for our growing business always stays ahead of the business need, enabling rapid development and pace to market for Anduril’s product lines.
• Deliver a capability-first, customer-service culture internally. Always looking to support the business in executing on our mission. Day-to-day and long-term.
• Own operational projects end-to-end, from Definition, Solution, to Implementation. You will be handed ambiguous, messy problems with little prescription on how to solve them. If this does not excite you, this is not the role for you.
• Project manage across many stakeholders. If you don’t like being the person leading meetings with large groups of people or managing large Slack channels to wrangle stakeholders towards a solution, this may not be the role for you.
• Work across functions and learn Anduril’s business top-to-bottom. You will interact with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Engineering, HR, Recruiting, Growth, and more. Facilities impacts all elements of the company.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• You have 7+ years of experience in construction, real estate, and/or operations management with rapidly growing portfolios and shifting demand.
• You have experience managing multi-layered organizations of 30+ employees.
• Experience and exposure to industrial building design, construction, and operations.
• You get energy from being a thought partner for others and it excites you to spend time translating operational problems into focused strategies, and then breaking them down to execute on solutions.
• You don’t wait on others to solve problems. You proactively step into the gap to offer solutions yourself.
• You have an appetite to build clear frameworks to structure problems.
• You are comfortable communicating broadly and having a lot of eyes on your work. This role requires frequent comms to large groups and senior leadership. This should excite you!
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
