Job Description

Job Summary

The primary role of the Full Stack Software Engineer is to design and develop secure, cloud-native applications supporting ICAM product development and Zero Trust architecture. This role focuses on building scalable front-end and back-end solutions using modern Java and JavaScript frameworks while ensuring security, accessibility, and performance in mission-critical environments. You’ll collaborate across engineering teams to deliver compliant, resilient systems that support national security missions.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop web-based front-end and back-end solutions

  • Build responsive, Section 508-compliant user interfaces using ReactJS

  • Develop, integrate, and deploy Spring Boot applications in containerized environments

  • Leverage cloud services and orchestration platforms for scalable deployment

  • Implement secure coding practices using OAuth2 and OpenID Connect standards

  • Support Linux-based deployments and Bash scripting activities

  • Create unit tests using JUnit and mocking frameworks

  • Author technical documentation and collaborate across development teams

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Java and front-end development using ReactJS

  • Experience with UX design principles and accessibility standards

  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Spring Boot, Git, Maven, JSON, and XML

  • Familiarity with PKI, OAuth2, and containerized CI/CD pipelines

  • Experience with Bash scripting and Linux administration

  • Strong verbal, written, and technical documentation skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in fast-paced environments

  • An active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies:

  • Experience supporting ICAM or Zero Trust architectures

  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure

  • Professional or specialty-level AWS or Microsoft Azure certifications

Salary Range: $175,000 – $185,000

The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several factors including, but not limited to, level of position, job responsibilities, geographic location, scope of relevant work experience, educational background, certifications, contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, alignment with local internal equity, as well as alignment with market data.
