Overview of the role
The Revenue Operations Business Partner is responsible for supporting the Go To Market team across the Quote to Cash (Q2C) process. This is a key role in the Revenue Operations & Enablement organisation, supporting the company in realising its growth and customer success goals.
Role and responsibilities
- Ensure timely and responsive handling of inquiries from customers and the sales teams
- Generate sales orders and invoices, with accuracy and promptness
- Validate order / invoice details against Salesforce opportunities
- Process purchase orders and coordinate order billing, invoicing and tracking
- Work closely with the logistics team to manage stock and release order in preparation for shipment.
- Support timely processing of in-transit shipments and communicate progress with appropriate stakeholders as needed.
- Ensure shipping compliance with state, federal, and international regulations.
- Follow up with customers regarding Defence Export Controls (DEC) status.
- Manage product lead times and availability requests from customers.
- Assist with inventory management and coordination of equipment dispatch / returns.
- Manage Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) processes.
- Drive and support Salesforce data hygiene initiatives as required (e.g. removing duplicate records)
- Support the sales team in following policies and processes, providing assistance and guidance as needed.
- Provide feedback to the Senior Manager, Revenue Operations, regarding operational performance and areas for improvement
Qualification, Experience and Skills
- Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification required
- Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within the technology industry
- Experience in order processing, coordination and customer service is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail, time management and organisation skills
- Problem solving skills, including knowing when to act and when to consult others for support/approval
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Effective at managing multiple concurrent workstreams, balancing competing priorities
- Ability to work autonomously, with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Google Suite applications preferred

- Effective and timely handline of queries from sales, stakeholders and customers.
- Minimisation of operational activities handled by the field and associated gains in sales productivity.
- Speed / responsiveness to queries from Head of Sales and the field.
- Continuous improvement of operational processes.
- Quality of Salesforce hygiene reflected in completeness of regional opportunities, accuracy of forecasts.
- Speed / accuracy of shipping
- Quality of relationship with key stakeholders measured by feedback from both the regional sales team and the HQ sales operations team.
