Overview of Position
Reporting to the Head of Procurement and Logistics, working in our new, state of the Art Manufacturing Facility in Botany, this role is an integral part of the Advanced Navigation Supply Chain. Broad responsibilities include managing our Sales Warehouse and Stock, Packing and Shipping products to customers and receiving and processing deliveries from our Suppliers.
Role Responsibilities
- Pack high value electronics products for shipment to customers, based on a pick list provided
- Receive and process deliveries of electronics, mechanical or optical components from our vendors, taking care to follow handling procedures
- Manage Sales Stock within our warehouse
- Manage warehouse equipment and materials
- Maintain compliance with our OHS policies and procedures, ensuring your health and safety and the safety of others.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- Relevant qualifications, including Logistics or Warehousing will be an advantage
- 3+ years working in a similar position, packing and shipping high value products for customers both internationally and domestically
- Experience preparing high value shipments for customers, with focus on accuracy, care and presentation
- Experience managing high value stock including stock locations, stock storage packaging, stock volumes
- Familiarity with warehouse environment, warehouse equipment and processes, shipping processes and working with couriers
- Comfortable working with Information Technology tools, such as Google Suite or Microsoft Office, especially email, word processing and spreadsheets.
- Must have or be able to obtain a Forklift licence
