We are looking for a Events & Marketing Coordinator to join our busy Business Development team, preferably in Glasgow, Scotland.

You will be enthusiastic, well-organised to coordinate international space industry events and conferences, create engaging content for social media channels, and help optimize our digital platforms. This is ideal for someone with proven marketing experience as well as the desire to develop and extend their knowledge and expertise. It is a brilliant opportunity to work in an energetic team on a varied range of projects, which will give you the opportunity for international travel, and of course to shine.

The role involves providing support to Sales, Marketing, and Communications. As a small team in a dynamic environment, we work closely together and rely on everyone playing their part. As a member of the Business Development Team, you will be responsible for building close relationships with our customers, suppliers, and other business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordination of annual conference and events
  • Co-ordination of logistic arrangements
  • Co-ordination of marketing collateral and a talent for content creation
  • Communication of upcoming deadlines defined in Sales and Marketing Plan
  • Support social media activities
  • Support execution and assessment of Marketing Campaigns
  • Successful delivery of conference and event planning to budget
  • Successful completion of logistical planning as per individual conference and event deadlines
  • Creating social media content and copy for marketing and event campaigns
  • Organising international travel for team members based across AAC Clyde Space global sites

Skills required:

  • Proven work experience within administration; sales and marketing support, or similar
  • Hands on experience organising company events and supporting promotional material creation.
  • A talent for content creation
  • Demonstratable experience handling shipping, with a focus on international logistics
  • Hands on experience with MS Office, Excel, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe photoshop, email automation platforms.
  • Experience drafting corporate communications via social media or other official channels
  • Ability to build professional relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Ability to work independently as well as effectively collaborate within a multicultural team
  • Ability to organise self and prioritise multiple projects and busy workload in dynamic environment with tight deadlines
  • Proficient in English, both verbally and written

Skills desired:

  • Experience in SEO and Google Analytics optimisation
  • Hands on experience organising company events and supporting promotional material creation.
  • A talent for content creation
  • Demonstratable experience handling shipping, with a focus on international logistics
  • Previous experience working with small/medium sized companies
