About the Role:
We’re looking for a IT Operations Manager to oversee IT operations and end-user support services at our 42dot Poland office.The IT Operations Manager will be responsible for the procurement and maintenance of IT equipment, handling daily IT service issues, as well as the management and operation of network infrastructure and smooth functioning of video conferencing systems.The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a proven track record of managing diverse IT infrastructure and systems/solutions—including various devices and networks—through cross-functional collaboration in a rapidly evolving, tech-driven work environment.
Responsibilities:

IT Operations & Service Management
Oversee day-to-day IT operations, ensuring minimal disruption to business activities.
Manage and resolve escalated IT service requests, including hardware, software, and network issues.
Maintain ticketing systems and drive service level improvements through data analysis and trend monitoring.

Procurement & Asset Management
Lead the purchase, tracking, and lifecycle management of IT equipment (laptops, peripherals, networking gear, etc.).
Coordinate with vendors and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective solutions.
Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee the asset disposal process in compliance with company policies.

Workplace & Employee Technology Support
Develop and maintain IT systems and services that enhance employee productivity and convenience (e.g., AV systems, printing solutions, Wi-Fi, conferencing tools).
Partner with HR, Facilities, and other departments to support onboarding, off-boarding, and remote work enablement.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve the employee tech experience.

Facilities and Program Support
Manage technology infrastructure in shared spaces (e.g., meeting rooms, workstations, IT helpdesk areas).
Support facility-related programs and services that enhance the work environment.
Coordinate with global teams to ensure alignment of IT support services and facility standards.
Requirements:
min. 7 years of experience in IT operations, end-user support, or IT service management
Proven experience in the procurement and full lifecycle management of IT equipment
Hands-on experience with installation and troubleshooting across multiple operating systems (Windows OS, macOS, Linux OS)
Practical experience using tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, and Jira in daily work
Experience working with ticket-based ITSM tools, such as Jira Service Desk
Strong problem-solving skills for addressing complex technical issues
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments
Experience in a fast-paced or startup-like environment is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
Fluent Polish and English
